Right after completing her MBA, this beautiful lady started working in a bank for a short period of time. After that, she moved to AAG TV and served there as a VJ. It was her first step in the television industry that made her acting in Drama serial “Dil e Muztar”. Now, this talented actress is hosting a morning show “Jago Pakistan Jago” on Hum TV.

Before becoming everyone’s favorite actor on drama and film screen, this man with hero looks chosen singing industry as a profession right after completing his studies. He worked as a lead singer for “Entity Paradigm” band that dissolved in the year 2007. After that Fawad khan took a part as an actor in “Khuda kay Liye” and “Humsafar” that made him famous as a great and heart winning actor.

Ali Zafar completed his degree in Fine Arts from Nation College of Arts, Lahore and started his professional career as a sketch artist in Lahore’s Pearl Continental hotel but this place was not meant to be for him so kicked his career as an artist and became singer due to his GOD gifted excellent voice. His Song “channo” became much popular and took him to the peaks of singing. Being a multitalented man, he also played some roles in drama serials and Films.

Huawei launches its Huawei MediaPad T3 7.0. The tablet’s launch was announced earlier in WMC by Huawei. Moreover, the price of the tablet is quite reasonable and is loaded with some great features.

Lux Style Awards (LSA) held yesterday night in Karachi at Expo Centre with all glam and shine. It was the 16th Lux Style Awards ceremony with its promising glitz and bang directed by the biggest fashion designer HSY Hassan Shehreyar Yaseen and hosted by the influential and famous singer Atif Aslam. A group of stars, actors, dancers and other celebrities came over Karachi to make this event successful through their outstanding performances.

Dozens of show biz stars were engaged in rehearsing their acts for the event since last couple of weeks including Imran Abbas, Sanam Saeed, Mikal Zulfiqar, Osamn Khalid Butt, Aisha Khan,Ali Zafar and many more.

This crew set up for this mega event practiced their rehearsal under the supervision of talented directors and choreographer. HSY being a prestigious director indulged in directing fashion events for last few decades. Stars are likely to be seen comfortable with his friendly and creative tech. He put his all effort to bring about the true celebration influenced by purely Pakistani style and talent.

We are waiting to inform you fully about Cultus 2017 once the car is unveiled and launched in the market. For last few months, the launch of Cultus is delayed which was expected to be done in March. Earlier it was heard that 7 March 2017 is all set for the launch of this new model. Now in teaser video, the new launch date has been announced with a first look of new model car.

In last year 2016, Suzuki gained a large number of orders that started from 5000 and reached to 17,000 units within first 12 months.  However, company is expecting a strong response for this new model which will be greater than the precious one.

How to stay safe from becoming victim of Summer Heat stroke is today’s topic of discussion. I know very well that all of you are trying your best to keep yourself protected from heat effects. Nowadays weather in all over country is getting warm and most of the big cities are under great influence of summer heat strokes.  Although this season has many benefits but the hotness and dryness is affecting your body badly therefore it is important to be well known about ways to protect yourself from heat.

Few of common and prescribed ways, we are going to talk about are as follows

Keep Your Body Hydrated

Most of our body is consisted of water as you all know. Water is primary necessity of our body which gives you ultimate freshness. Due to increased dryness in weather your body requires more water than normal intake. It is important to keep yourself hydrated by increasing the use of water and other drinks. It is good to take juices and shake that gives you energy and revitalizes. It vanishes your dullness and tiredness.

Prefer Shades

Firstly avoid going outside during day time to keep yourself safe from scorching sun. If you are moving out in peak hours then find shades while walking. It is good to cover your body and head to stay safe from sunlight. You can use umbrellas or hats which is good if you can’t find shade on streets.

Use Sunscreen Protection

Before moving out, apply sun block or sun screen lotion on your skin to shield your skin from sun rays effects. Skin is very sensitive to sun rays. Dangerous UV rays can cause many diseases of skin which also includes Skin cancer.

Choose Cool Places

Try to sit inside and avoid direct sun exposure. Sit in shady places while you are outside. Everyone should sit in cool places either air conditioned rooms or the spacious and airy rooms that has good ventilation. Do not use underground rooms for resting or basements which have no crossing of air because it may result in suffocation.

What is Map it Pakistan?

Map it Pakistan is a student-led mapping event, where students from Institute of Geographical Information Systems, NUST will gather health and educational points of interests in twin cities. The teams comprising of 2-3 members will be collecting the data and the team with the highest points at the end will be declared the winner. The data will be gathered with an android application, Workforce Management. There will be extravagant prizes for top 3 teams which are yet to be announced by the organizing body; the prizes will be announced at the opening ceremony of the event on the 20th April.

The event will start on 20th April, 2017 and will last for two weeks. The opening ceremony will be held at RIMMS Hall, NUST at 10:00 am.

Who is organizing the event?

Map it Pakistan is a collaborative effort of LMKT Pvt. Ltd and the student body of IGIS under the supervision of Dr. Ali Tahir, Assistant Professor IGIS, NUST.

Why is it important?

Map it Pakistan is important for several reasons. Here are a few:

  • It is the first-of-its kind mapping event – a hackathon for GIS students.
  • The data collected will be available to the public.
  • Google Maps do not provide the accurate location of most the Points of Interests.
  • Google has stopped its editors and the data is not available for Pakistanis.
  • Open source data is a rarity in Pakistan, and Map it Pakistan will cater for it.
  • The pioneers of Open Source Data Initiative will be the keynote speakers for the event, making it more interesting.
  • It is time to have our own data gathered and promote GIS as an important field.
  • Map it Pakistan will serve as a bridge between the academia and industry.

HTC U Ultra was released in February 2017 before Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The phone was geared up with lots of new and incredible features to compete with the other smartphones. But after the release of various flagships from various mobile phone manufacturers HTC U Ultra faced a tough time in the mobile market.

Moreover, the price of the flagship was initially announced as (PKR 78528/-) $749. Which was quite reasonable at that time against its features. But, due to lack of sales, HTC has made a tough decision of decrease in its price. The price of the flagship is dropped by 20%. Furthermore, now you can get HTC U Ultra in (PKR 62802/-) $599.

Most of all, the U Ultra now costs as much as (PKR 5242/-) $50 less than the LG G6 as well as (PKR 12581/-) $120 less than the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Drawbacks

As, ever since its launch, HTC U Ultra has failed to get enough momentum. Moreover, some of the technical faults which the reviewers found are

  • Lack of a headphone jack disappointing,
  • Its second display gimmicky
  • It’s camera sub-par

Moreover, the scratch-prone glass design of the phone (which is not water or dust proof) matches nowhere near the quality or looks of the Galaxy S8 or the LG G6.

With the price drop in place, the phone finally has one major advantage over its competitors, though, it still doesn’t guarantee a shift in fortunes.
