Being called the ultimate 5G phone, the Pixel 5 is definitely going to be the phone of the year if it is released this year. Google is planning to take over the global android smartphone market with the launch of their new phone. Promised to offer smoother and faster performance, the new Pixel 5 is bound to be the best by the brand.

Available in two colors Just Black and Sorta Sage, the new phone comes packed with new features, better performance and an incredible camera that will make you sing its praises. Along with the much coveted 5G technology, Google has added a bucketful of new features to the phone to make it their best yet.

Here is a breakdown of its specifications, technologies, camera and price in Pakistan, along with its release date.

Performance Specifications

To start with, the Pixel 5 will come with Android 11, right out of the pack. The smartphone is a single SIM set and there will be no dual SIM option available. The phone is also 5G capable, but considering the technology is not available everywhere in the world, it will also support 2G, 3G and 4G technology as well.

As for the performance, the smartphone will come with 2.4 GHz octa-core processor that is supported by Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G chipset and Andreno 620 GPU for a blistering performance. You can play games, stream whatever you want and enjoy seamless performance at all times.

The Pixel 5 will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of ROM, and there is not going to be a dedicated external memory slot. The phone will come with a 4,080 mAh battery with a 18W fast charging capability as well as wireless charging and reverse charging capabilities as well.

Screen and Camera Specifications

The Pixel 5 will come with 6 inch screen with a side punch-hole for camera. This is a bezel-less design so that you get to have an incredible experience. The screen is an OLED capacitive touchscreen that displays 16 million colors.  It has a resolution of 1080 x2340 pixels with 432 pixels per inch density. As for protection, the screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection, which is a very impressive. It also supports HDR10+, Always on Display and 90Hz refresh rate.

The Pixel 5 features an 8MP front camera with auto HDR and can record videos in 1080p. The back of the phone features a dual camera consisting of a 12.2MP camera and a 16MP camera with auto HDR, panorama, LED Flashlight and can record videos in 4K and 1080p.

Price and Availability for Google Pixel 5 in Pakistan

At the moment, the Pixel 5 is only available for preorders and no definite release date has been announced as of yet. It is expected that the phone will be released on 15th October, 2020 and will come with a hefty price of approximately Rs. 150,000. However, no actual release date or price has been announced as of yet.
