Samsung surprised its fans today with the launch of their brand-new Samsung Galaxy A22. Earlier this month, the South Korean brand launched the 5G variant, but no they have launched the 4G variant which is expected to be a better fit for the Pakistani market as we don’t have 5G technology available.
This was a soft launch, considering that Samsung made no announcement regarding the smartphone. However, now that it is here, the fans of Samsung are very excited for the phone. Despite the soft launch, the smartphone carries incredible features that make it a standout in the market.
Here is everything we know about the new Samsung Galaxy A22 and you can expect from it.
Performance Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A22 will come with Android 11 operating system and will be supported by Samsung’s One UI 3.1 user interface. This is a dual SIM smartphone with dual standby Nano SIM. This is a 4G smart phone with a 5000 mAh battery and 15W fast charging capabilities.
As for the actual performance specifications, the smartphone will come with 2.0 GHz octa core processor that is supported by MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 chipset and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone will be available with two memory options that are:
- 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM
- 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM
Screen and Camera Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A22 will come with 6.4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels which delivers 274 pixels per inch. The screen will also have 90Hz refresh rate. It isn’t specified if the screen will have Corning Gorilla Glass production or not.
As for the camera, the Samsung Galaxy A22 will feature a 13MP front camera that can capture videos in 1080p. The main camera features three lenses that include a 48MP wide lens, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro lens and a 2 MP depth lens.
The camera will be supported by LED flash. With this camera, you can enjoy features such as HDR mode and capture videos in 1080p.
Price of Samsung Galaxy A22
The smartphone is now available in Pakistan and has a price of Rs. 35,999. The smartphone is available in Black, White, Mint and Violet colors.
