Things have been going exceptionally well for Pakistani fans and things are looking even better now that the PSL 7 Anthem is released. After teasing it for weeks and then releasing a trailer, we first got a glimpse at the song when the teaser was released yesterday.
However, things are different today as Pakistan Super League and Pakistan Cricket Board has released the anthem for the Pakistan Super League Season 7. Officially sponsored by TikTok, the anthem of the HBL PSL 7 is already loved by the masses.
PSL 7 Anthem Released
The PSL 7 Anthem is named Agay Dekh and is sung by the two latest singing sensations of the country. Led by Atif Aslam, the musical maestro who won the hearts of the audience with his soulful voice, and Aima Baig, the new talent who is as talented as she is pretty.
The anthem is much-awaited as the tournament is ready to begin on 27th January, which is just three days away. While the song is sung by Atif Aslam and Aima Baig, it is produced by Abdullah Siddiqui, the musical prodigy who is making Pakistan proud with his talents every day.
PCB shared the official video of the anthem for the PSL 7 edition with the caption, “The wait is over. Presenting to you the official #PSL7 anthem.”
PCB said about the anthem, “Pakistani cricket has given us many moments to cherish, and this year’s PSL anthem carries forward the nationwide spirit and culture surrounding it” and also added that the audience will enjoy the game rather than focus on victory or loss.
“Pakistan’s biggest sporting event is a festival and a celebration, and the anthem pays tribute to everyone who waits excitedly for this time of year. With “Agay dekh” we have strived to showcase how much we love cricket, as well as capture the attitude, the fierceness and the banter that houses that love,” said PCB.
PSL anthems have a history of being loved by the fans. Past anthems were sung by Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Arif Lohar, Naseebo Lal and more. This time, PCB is hoping to encite the feeling of excitement of PSL fans living in Pakistan and all over the world.
And with the star power of Atif Aslam to back them up, it looks like PSL 7 will get a lot of attention with the PSL 7 Anthem.
