The Wait is Over – FIFA World Cup 2018 Finally Reached Pakistan

You probably heard the news that FIFA World Cup 2018 is coming to Pakistan for one day and all the preparations were made to welcome this gold trophy. Finally, FIFA World Cup 2018 landed to Pakistan today with the collaboration of Coca-Cola. This is the one day tour of Pakistan and will be travel to other countries and will end the journey back in its hometown Russia.

FIFA gold trophy visited 6 continents, 51 countries and 91 cities across the world and each country welcomed this gold trophy in amazing style. Pakistan made this visit historical and inspiring. The trophy visited in Lahore and landed in a charted plane along with famous celebrities including legendary cricketer Younis Khan, famous singers Quratulain Baloch, Momina Mustehsan and former French World Cup winner Christian Karembeu.

The famous skipper of Pakistan cricket Younis Khan talked to media, “It is an honor to be the part of this journey”.  The Trophy is made of 18-carat gold with a malachite base in late 1974 and constantly stayed in the hometown for the display. The trophy is approximately worth $150,000 and was prepared by Italian company Stabilimento Artistico Bertoni.

The FIFA World Cup 2018 started its journey from Russia in September 2017 and visited a lot of countries and traveled 126,000 kilometers across the world. It will be back to Russia in May 2018 for the FIFA match.  32 teams will be the part of this upcoming match; although Pakistan is not the part of FIFA this year the fans are happy to see the gold trophy in Pakistan.

However, the last destination of this visit will be Tokyo, Japan on April 30th this year and in May it will be back to Russia. Coca-Cola arranged the special event to unveil the Golden Trophy which the fans were keenly waiting for.
