YouTube Makes Strict Policy for Channels Making Offensive Videos

A couple of weeks ago, there was an issue of inappropriate videos on YouTube which went viral. Those videos were controversial and offensive on which consisted ads of famous companies. Those companies suffered from those videos which were inappropriate and on that YouTube later took action. Youtube has now made strict policies against those channels make offensive videos. Youtube almost removed 150,000 disturbing videos recently and according to its new policy, they will block the channel which has made such videos.

There is a long policy list for the You tubers now if they want to earn from this channel they need much views and subscribers and now Youtube will review the videos before getting viral. These measures already have been taken but now recently YouTube has made its new goals of 2018 in which they explained the clear and strict policies and on the violation, they will punish something shocking to the channel that harms the YouTube’s community.

Youtube is trying to make the quality content on this platform for that reason it has a wide but clear policy. According to new rules of YouTube, “When one creator does something particularly blatant—like conducts a heinous prank where people are traumatized, promotes violence or hate toward a group, demonstrates cruelty, or sensationalizes the pain of others in an attempt to gain views or subscribers—it can cause lasting damage to the community, including viewers, creators and the outside world.”

Now YouTube made harder for smaller channels to earn from ads due to its policies and demand of high views on each video like the channel must have must have tailed 4,000 hours of overall watch time within past 12 months and have at least 1,000 subscribers to get ads.
