Finally, after months of controversies and rumors, the 2023 Asia Cup Schedule has been announced. The tournament in the 50-over format is scheduled to take place from 30th August to 17th September. Pakistan will host four matches, while Sri Lanka will host nine matches.

The competition will be held across four venues for a total of 13 matches. In Pakistan, the 2023 Asia Cup Schedule will kick off in Multan on 30th August with a match between Pakistan and Nepal. The remaining three matches will then be held in Lahore.

In Sri Lanka, the first-round matches will be played in Kandy, while the five Super-4 stage fixtures and the final on 17th September will be held in Colombo. On 31st August, Sri Lanka will kick off their campaign against Bangladesh in Kandy. India’s first match in the tournament will be against Pakistan in Kandy on 2nd September.

If both Pakistan and India advance to the Super-4 stage, they will face each other again in Colombo on 10th September. Following the tournament opener in Multan, the remaining three matches in Pakistan will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

On 3rd September, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will compete against each other, followed by a match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka on 5th September. If the pre-event seeding holds true, Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in their first Super-4 match on 6th September.

Pakistan and India have been seeded as A1 and A2, respectively, in Group A. Nepal is the third team in Group A. In Group B, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have been seeded as B1 and B2, respectively, with Afghanistan as the third team.
