A million Freelancers will be trained through DigiSkills Programme

Pakistan government is adopting the new technologies day by day in all official fields and going with the flow. On Thursday, February 01, 2018 Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inaugurated DigiSkills Programme for freelancers. Through this programme, they will train one million girls and boys and let them aware of new skills of e-commerce and technology to get projects and jobs online.

While addressing the ceremony PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi shared his views, that this programme will help the youth to earn money from non-traditional ways. It will also prepare girls for digital skills and e-commerce, as it has been using in all over the world and it is essential to adopt such skills and educate youth. According to PM Abbasi, the world has changed now and rapidly adopting new technologies and in that manner, Government should facilitate the youth to get benefits and this is the initiative towards better future. An agreement signing ceremony later took place at the Prime Minister Secretariat in the presence of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Dr. Naveed Malik and CEO Ignite Yusuf Hussain

While addressing to the ceremony, Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications Anusha Rehman shared her views that through this programme, youth will be able to earn 200 to 300 dollar every month. Plus people across the country will be able to provide their services throughout the world through this programme and earn a handsome amount.

In Pakistan there are still many girls whose families didn’t allow them to go out for a job, this will the best step for those educated girls especially who are not able to go out due to restrictions. Today is the time Pakistan needs services from each person who is educated and this programme will help all of them to earn and get benefits of these skills which will surely help them in different fields. It will solve many other problems along with unemployment and poverty.
