PTCL Launches ‘Car-Fi” Device that lets You use Internet On the Go

Want to use seamless internet on the go? Pakistan’s beloved Internet Service provider comes up with yet another remarkable idea, to offer greater convenience to the consumers.
PTCL has now made it easier to use Internet with blazing speeds while traveling. In order to make sure that you never go offline, PTCL has introduced a new Internet device, the PTCL EVO Car-Fi.


The PTCL Car-Fi is a unique Internet device that can be used to enjoy high speed internet while travelling.

This device is quite convenient to use. Requiring no installation hassle, you can simply plug this device into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter port and you’re good to go. Ironically, it is also shaped like a cigar. Upon plugging in, this device creates a Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing up to 5 internet enabled devices to connect to it. The Wi-Fi range of this device is 30 Feet (10 meters).

PTCL EVO Car-Fi is supposed to provide seamless internet in over 250 cities nationwide, with speeds up to 9.3 Mbps. The device also comes with a converter accessory, allowing you to connect it to a PC or laptop as well.
Moreover the Car-Fi device sports a USB port for charging phones, tablets and stuff.

It also provides a MicroSD card slot, supporting up to 32 GB. Another useful feature integrated into this device is MicroSD Data Sharing over Wi-Fi, which lets users share documents, music and video clips.

PTCL is currently offering two packages for those willing to purchase this device.
The package costing Rs.4000 offers 15 GB of data, valid for 3 months.
The other package costs Rs.5000 and offers 30 GB of internet data with a validity of 6 months.
