Vivo Smartphones All Set to Hit the Shelves in Pakistan

The China-based smartphone manufacturer ‘Vivo’ is all set to launch in Pakistan. According to official sources, Vivo is already gearing up for its launch in Pakistan and the launching event is likely to take place in the first week of July’17.

Already amongst leading smartphone manufacturers in China, Vivo is now seeking to expand and enter new markets. Successfully identifying the potential in Pakistani markets, Vivo aims at filling the void left by local and international brands, by providing affordable yet highly-equipped smartphones.

As per reports and official figures, Vivo is the 5th largest smartphone manufacturing brand in terms of sales. The brand recorded $80 million worth of sales in 2016, which is an extremely promising figure.
Apart from that, Vivo had the second largest share in the Chinese markets as of 2016, and was only bound to grow.
Once they launch their smartphones in Pakistan, Vivo will become the 4th notable Chinese smartphone manufacturing giant to penetrate into Pakistani markets after.  Apart from that, the brand is already operating in around 10 countries with additional production bases in India and Indonesia.

Vivo recently proved their worth and took an aggressive stance in an event in Shanghai when they introduced the first ever under-display fingerprint sensor. They claim that the in-screen sensor is embedded beneath the display, making the sensor invisible yet functional. Even though we’re yet to see its accuracy, introducing a new technology, not yet utilized even by the market leaders, is certainly a bold step.

Current trends and consumer spending patterns suggest that Vivo is destined to succeed in Pakistan as they offer great value for money. Vivo provides a wide range of smartphones, for consumers with diverging incomes. You can purchase their smartphones for as low as PKR 10000 however, the ones with standout specs and features can go as high as PKR 40000.

According to various sources, the launch event will be a grand one and a lot of tech-journalists would be invited. The company will ensure the availability of their devices right after the launch. They’ve got us all excited about the event and we’re really looking forward to the launch.
