After teasing Pakistani fans with clips and design teasers, Suzuki has finally released the first teaser of Suzuki Swift. Along with that, the Japanese company has announced the release date for the upcoming subcompact car that is much loved by Asian markets.

The 2022 model is much-anticipated, thanks to the promise of a new design and a performance overhaul. Needless to say, the fans of the car waiting with bathed breaths to finally get a glimpse of what they will definitely be buying when they get their hands on this car.

New Suzuki Swift Teaser

The new teaser is basically a short video in which Suzuki teases the design and performance of the new Suzuki Swift. The video ends with a message, “Its time to change” and “temptation comes alive.” However, that is not the first sighting of the new Swift.

The car was spotted on Bahawalpur Bypass and according to witnesses, it was not the top-of-the-line variant, rather it was a base variant

What Do We Know About the New Swift?

According to the industry gurus, the Swift will come in three variants. These variants are Swift GL, GL and GLX. The Swift GL will come with a manual transmission whereas the GL and GLX variant will come with automatic transmission.

As for the engine specifications, the vehicle will come with a new Dualjet Inline-4 engine that will be paired with either a CVT Transmission and 5 speed manual transmission. More performance specifications will be revealed very soon.

The design specifications have been announced but many of them have been kept under the wraps. By the looks of the teaser, the vehicle will have a sporty look. It has sharper curves and it looks like that vehicle will look super modern and chic.

However, Suzuki has announced that the Suzuki Swift will have LED fog lamps, Halogen Projection headlights and the top variants will come with alloy wheels.

Release Date, Price and Bookings

The Suzuki Swift will be released on 24th February, 2022 and it is finally announced that the vehicle will be available for booking the very next day, which is 25th February 2022. The launch event will be held in Lahore and it is expected to be a mega event by the brand.

It is still unclear if we will receive the 1000cc turbo engine variant or not, but it would be great if it does make it to Pakistan. It is expected that the Suzuki Swift will be priced somewhere between 27 lacs or 28 lacs. Since the previous model of the Swift is discontinued, the new generation of Swift is expected to be a mega hit before it even makes its way to Pakistan.
