As we get closer to the launch of the smartphone, we get new information about it. Samsung Galaxy S21’s new images have been leaked and they show the phone in all its glory. If the leaked images and design renditions are true, the new smartphone is expected to be stunning.

The leaks show that the new smartphone is much better and different from the other and recently launched S20. While the front panel of the smartphone looks like a regular flagship Samsung with a punch hole display, it is the rear of the smartphone that truly stands apart.

The camera module wraparounds one corner of the phone and it means that the case for the smartphone will look very strange indeed. The metal body is expected to be brilliant. As for the screen, the phone is rumored to have 6.2 inch FHD+ touchscreen display with 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone will also have a 4,000 mAh battery and triple lens camera with a 12MP lens and 64MP lens.

However, there are some hoping that the Samsung Galaxy S21 will have a larger screen of 6.7 inch screen and 4,800 mAh battery. Many also believe that the smartphone should have at least 5,000 mAh battery, four lens camera including 108MP main lens, 12MP ultra wide lens and two more 10MP lenses. Plus, people wish to have 6.8 inch WQHD+ display.

According to the experts, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will be launched on 14th January, 2021 with its whole range and will be released on 29th January. Qualcomm Announces 7 Series Snapdragon Chipset

The 7 series Snapdragon chipset is almost here. Qualcomm has announced and introduced their new flagship chipset that is promised to change the smartphone game for the years to come. Earlier this week, Qualcomm make the announcement that their Snapdragon will soon reach the brands to incorporate in their smartphones.

The new Snapdragon chipset is expected to reach the markets soon and according to Weibo, the chipset will make it into the markets in the first quarter of 2021. The chipsets will be shipped almost immediately too. Here is what you need to know about this chipset and what you can expect from it.

Qualcomm Snapdragon

The Snapdragon is being called the 7 series chipset by the company. With this new chipset, Qualcomm will become a direct competition of the 5nm Exynos 1080 chipset that comes integrated with 5G modem and Mediatek’s 6nm MT6893 chipset which is the best option available in the upper midrange smartphones. However, the Mediatek’s chipset is not announced yet so that leaves the ground open for Qualcomm.

At the moment, Qualcomm hasn’t announced much about the Snapdragon and what we can now about it. But we do know that the chipset will be called SM7350 and its code name is Cedros. The code name is inspired by an island by the coast of Mexico which is very close to Qualcomm’s head Quarters in San Diego.

The prototype of the chipset is very successful. It scored over 530,000 on AnTuTu and it is expected that the Snapdragon chipset is going to do much, much better than the SD75G. However, it is not going to be better than the flagship SD865 which is the flagship by Qualcomm. That reached a startling 600,000 on AnTuTu, which is now a bench mark on the platform.

It is expected that this chipset will be used in midrange smartphones by the best brands and it will significantly improve the performance of the phones in the midrange. Only time will tell what and how the performance will be improved by this new Snapdragon chipset and what Qualcomm has more in store for us.

Yunus Emre(Rah-e-Ishq) – New Turkish Drama Recommended by PM Imran Khan

Yunus Emre a.k.a. Rah-e-Ishq is the new Turkish drama to watch. After Ertugrul Ghazi, the Prime Minster of Pakistan, Imran Khan has recommended another drama to the youth of the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan has made it his mission to share religious drama series and novels with the young generation of Pakistan to make them feel closer to our religion and Islamic culture.

In a recent tweet, Prime Minister Imran Khan shared and recommended another drama with the Pakistani youth and urged them to watch it. Yunus Emre, a Turkish drama is currently aired on PTV and PTV Home since 23rd November, 2020.

Yunus Emre TV Series

The drama series is called Yunus Emre: Aşkın Yolculuğu (English translation is Yunus Emre: The Journey of Love) and is created my Mehmet Bozdağ, a famous fil producer, director and screenwriter. The story follows the life of the poet who was a 13th century Anatolian Sufi poet who influenced the Anatolian culture greatly for centuries to come.

The story follows Yunus as he travels all the way to Nallihan to become a Seljuk official. He joined the Taptuk Emre’s dervish monastery and becomes a dervish. Veteran actor Yusuf Gökhan Atalay played the rule of Yunus in the series. The drama is aired on PTV and PTV Home as Rah-e-Ishq.

This historical drama shows how Yunus heavily influenced the present day Turkey and his poetry lead to highlighting suficism and dervishism in the world. His poems are written in the typical Anatolian folk poetry style that talks primarily about human destiny and divine love.

The drama Yunus Emre a.k.a. Rah-e-Isqh can be viewed on PTV and PTV Home every Monday and Tuesday at 7 pm in the evening. The drama is dubbed in Urdu to make it easy to understand for Pakistani audience. This historical drama is anticipated to be a great hit in the coming days, especially considering the success of Ertugrul Ghazi in Pakistan.

HEC Ban 2 Year BA/BSc Degree Programs Across Pakistan

An effort that was a long time coming, HEC ban 2-year degree programs in Pakistan. This is a measure that should have been taken years ago, but the Higher Education Commission of has finally made the right decision to ban two year degree programs from every university across the country.

The news came early today to the outrage to some, but most people celebrated the news as it opens newer and internationally accepted degree programs for students in Pakistan. With the changes brought to the education programs in Pakistan, the students have better opportunities to pursue better education avenues in the future.

Announcement Made by HEC

According to the announcement made by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, the HEC ban every two-year degree programs. The HEC will not recognize any two-year BA or BSc program after 2018, which means many people will lose their diplomas and the work they did to earn them.

The notification was issued with the HEC ban on these programs this morning and urging universities to immediately stop these programs. The universities were notified of this decision on 15th March, 2017 and 11th July, 2019, yet many universities decided to ignore the notification anyway.

HEC ban is imposed after the Higher Education Commission found out that some universities and colleges under its banner were still offering these degree programs even after receiving notification. According to the notification, “”Degrees shall not be recognized by HEC for students enrolled in these programs after December 31, 2018.”

What Options Do Students Have?

To replace these diplomas, HEC announced that they will replace the diplomas with an Associate Degree Program. This HEC ban strictly mentions that they are now announcing a postsecondary program that will be called an Associate degree and they will end the BA BSc programs will be discontinued in the future.

Any student who enrolled in a diploma program before 31 December, 2018, their degrees will be allowed until the December 2020 to complete their degree programs. Anyone who fails to do so will be given an Associate Degree Program.

This new degree program is to offer a better and broader understanding and applicable education to the students. The HEC ban is for the betterment of the future of our students.

The disappearing act is getting out of hands, but it seems like Twitter feels good about launching this new feature. Unlike other features launched on multiple social media platforms, Twitter launched their Fleet feature simultaneously all over the world.

What Are Fleets?

Fleets are a new feature that Twitter just launched. Thanks to this feature, you can now post a tweet and have it disappear after 24 hours. This feature is similar to Instagram stories and Snapchat. Twitter first announced their plan to launch such a feature and tested it first in South Korean, Italy, Brazil and India.

After receiving a good response, they have now made the feature available all over the world. “Some of you tell us that tweeting is uncomfortable because it feels so public, so permanent, and like there’s so much pressure to rack up retweets and likes. Because they disappear from view after a day, fleets helped people feel more comfortable sharing personal and casual thoughts, opinions, and feelings,” Twitter’s design director, Joshua Harris, and product manager, Sam Haveson.

What Can You Do With Them?

When you send a Fleet, you can post videos, photos and texts that will be available and viewable at the top of any user’s timeline and on the profile of the twitter user. While it is simple and easy to use, people are concerned about some security risks that Twitter promises to work on immediately.

Along with this, Twitter is working on offering a live audio feature that they are called Spaces. Spaces will be tested soon and once it is launched, it will allow the Twitter users to talk with their friends in group conversations without the need to type in everything.

MG Motors Receives 10K Orders in Just Few Days of Launch

MG Motors is ready to give other major car brands in Pakistan a run for their money. Just days after announcing that they will release three new SUVs in Pakistan, they have received thousands of orders for their SUVs that are bound to add more diversity to the automotive industry in Pakistan.

While there are plenty of sedans and small cars in Pakistan, there is a definite need of SUVs in the market. MG Motors is bringing that divert tenfold. The addition of this brand in Pakistani automotive industry is thanks to the efforts of Javed Afridi, the CEO of Haier Pakistan and JW Auto Park.

Grand New Total of Orders After Initial Launch Announcement

MG Motors is working in collaboration with JW Auto Park, which is a key share holder in the deal made by SAIC Motors that owns MG Motors. According to the reports, MG Motors already has booked 10,000 orders for the MG HS SUV.

The MG HS is a compact SUV that comes with a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine that is actually equivalent to 2400cc. Javed Afridi is very happy with the turn out and says, “The demand is great for the British car.” He also says, “They also want to expand their global presence to Pakistan. They are providing a sporty SUV with high-end technology that will transform the Pakistani auto market.”

When Will The MG HS Become Available?

However, the stock for the MG HS is limited and the SUV will actually be formally launched December. The brand is gearing up to start the production of the SUV in Pakistan in June 2021. During the first phase, MG Motors is going to launch three SUVs that are MG ZS with 1.5 liter engine, MG HS and MG ZS EV (an all-electric SUV that generates 44.5 KWH power).

It is expected that the company is ready to announce three more models by early 2021. The new lineup will include hatchbacks and sedans. At the moment, the MG HS is competing against Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage, both of which have a huge demand with Pakistani SUV enthusiasts.
