It was great news for cricket fans in both countries when Zimbabwe Cricket team was given the permission from their government to travel all the way to Pakistan to play in a white-ball tour in October.

The Pakistan Vs. Zimbabwe series is set to be played between the two team just next month. Zimbabwe Cricket first confirmed the news just a couple of days ago on their official twitter page to the delight of cricket fans in both countries.

Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavenga Mukuhlani said, “We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, the Honorable Kirsty Coventry, the SRC (Sports and Recreation Commission) and the entire Government of Zimbabwe for authorizing the tour. Needless to say, we at ZC are bursting with excitement as we look forward to playing cricket again and representing our nation with pride and passion in Pakistan.”

Zakir Khan, PCB director for international cricket, said “This series is critical to Pakistan as it aspires to qualify directly for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 and, as such, every point in the Super League will count. Our last ODI series was against Sri Lanka, 12 months ago, so the boys will have to hit the ground running and try to pocket maximum points.”

“We have strategically scheduled Zimbabwe’s matches in Multan and Rawalpindi, the venues which will be hosting the National T20 Cup from 30 September to 18 October,” Khan said. “By the time Zimbabwe arrives, we would have gained enough experience on bio-securing hotels, player transportation, the venues and the players’ dressing rooms as delivery of this series will be under strict Covid-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of all participants.”

Preparations for COVID-19 Prevention

“The squad will undergo two Covid-19 tests within a space of 48 hours prior to their departure in Harare, while the second tests will be conducted as soon as they arrive in Islamabad,” the statement added. “Players and Player Support Personnel testing negative in Islamabad will be eligible to resume training at a venue, which the PCB will confirm in due course.”

“Players and player support personnel testing positive during the tour will have to observe a five-day self-isolation and will only be allowed to re-integrate with the side after two negative tests.”

Neither of the teams have announced their squads yet but it is rumored that Zimbabwe’s 32 men squad is already preparing for the series. The Zimbabwe team is expected to reach Pakistan on 20th October. The ODI’s played in the Pakistan Vs Zimbabwe series will be a part of the ICC’s Cricket World Cup Super League. Furthermore, it is expected that the Pakistan Team will visit South Africa in March next year.

Recently, Jazz customers have been complaining about the deduction of balance for no reason. It has been observed and reported by many of the Beam readers that Jazz is activating Hungama service without the consent of consumers. The news has set the whole social media on fire and one after the other customer is making a complaint about the matter. Despite of being activated on monthly hybrid bundles, Jazz accounts of people are losing their balance within seconds.

Hungama, the music enriched service has been activated by telecom operator without the informed consent of users. Users have been blaming the renowned mobile network for looting them and for being involved into unethical business practices.

Surprisingly, there is no option to deactivate Hungama service on Web link given by Jazz customer representatives, additionally you customer needs to call Jazz helpline to get the service deactivated. Not only this but upon complaint, Jazz accuses customers for activating the service. On the other hand, customers deny all the accusations and claim that they don’t even receive any confirmation SMS. Customers are claiming Jazz to be the one looting them via different ways by subscribing different services without notifying customers and they are asking PTA to take action against these telecom operators.

New MG Electric Car Models Introduced in Pakistan

A good news for automobile enthusiasts is here as HS model of their favorite British automaker MG has been introduced in Pakistan. Javed Afridi, CEO Haier and Ruba Company introduced the new models MG ZS EV and MG HS.

Earlier, Morris Garage was a British owned company which was later on taken over by Chinese company. Rumors are that Chinese president will visit Pakistan to inaugurate the plant by the end of this year. However, there is no confirmation by authorities yet.

The Morris Garage ZS is a subcompact crossover with beautifully designed interior and exterior. It is the second SUV which is introduced by the company. First one was MG GS, which was introduced in April 2015.

Four months back, Afridi shared the images of the vehicles, asking public to give their views on the interior and exterior SUV. SUV was spotted in northern areas of Pakistan which was being used for road-trials.

However, in a recent tweet, Afridi officially announced the introduction of vehicles in the country. He also revealed that MG ZS EV is the first electric vehicle of the company in the Pakistan.

Javed Afridi asked investors to invest money in these vehicles to make Pakistan prosper in vehicle manufacturing field.

Earlier, Javed Afridi, the Peshawar Zalmi chairman also tweeted about the comparison between the two SUVs.

Earlier, Javed had also announced the launch of MG E-motion in Pakistan. Also, he announced that bookings for vehicle are open.
